Weft
Carcassonne's Porte d'Aude serves as the inspiration for the nocturnal arrival scene in the anonymous city.
The player takes on the role of 15-year-old Amicia de Rune, accompanied by her younger brother, 5-year-old Hugo, both on their own as war and plague rage. Although of the same blood, the two children know each other little since Amicia was raised by her father, Robert de Rune, a knight in the service of the King of France, who taught her to hunt, while Hugo, suffering from a mysterious blood disease, is kept by his mother Beatrice de Rune in her room. They are going to have to survive and rely only on themselves as they are pursued by the Inquisition led by Lord Nicholas, who is after Hugo whom he holds responsible for the appearance of the Black Death through of his illness. The two children must also survive an invasion of ferocious and voracious rats that ravage the land, devouring any living thing in their path. Armed with her sling and her little knowledge of alchemy, Amicia will have to do everything to protect her younger brother, and the two children will gradually get to know each other.

Game system
The game, which is played in the third person, is a succession of scenes and sometimes puzzles which, once solved, allow Amicia and Hugo to escape their pursuers, such as, for example, using rats with fire to to divert them so that they attack the guards of the Inquisition.
Nothing stops the progress of rats except fire and water. Amicia will have to use stratagems to divert their attention using the natural elements and various alchemical potions.
When the Inquisition guards and the rats face the two children, you have to take advantage of each to attract the other. Some guards have a lantern to keep rats away. Armed with a slingshot, Amicia can throw a stone at the lantern carried by the guards of the Inquisition and thus shatter it. As a result, the rats more easily prey on the latter who no longer have a lantern to protect them, which allows the two children to overcome the obstacle as long as they are occupied.
The game features a workshop system to improve Amicia's equipment
