In this chapter, Vaudin thought Hugo wouldn't make it and persuaded Beatrice to leave for the headquarters of the order in Marseille, where her son's devastating power might be contained. Amicia was against it but still helped Lucas to reach the habour and Joseph, a boat captain who would take them aboard. Unconscious, Hugo released gigantic waves of rats, devouring the city. Vaudin died before Amicia managed to calm her brother down. The boy is horrified by what he did to this city he loved. The reunited family now heads towards Marseille.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action-adventure survival horror stealth video game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment. It is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019), and follows siblings Amicia and Hugo de Rune who must look for a cure to Hugo's blood disease in Southern France while fleeing from soldiers of the Inquisition and hordes of rats that are spreading the black plague.
