A Quiet Place The Road Ahead is a brand new horror game that can HEAR YOU... and it's been built using Unreal Engine 5 so that means it works in VR with the UEVR mod so technically we now have a Quiet Place VR game that listens to your microphone! A Quiet Place The Road Ahead feels like a budget or slimmed down version of Alien Isolation, it's a tense, stealthy, cat & mouse adventure that challenges players to keep quiet when facing off against the imposing Death Angel aliens of the franchise. However it does take a little while to get going and UEVR performance is a little rough even on higher end PC setups, this Quiet Place VR gameplay was captured on medium settings with DLSS set to performance and I was using a 4090 VR ready PC with a Quest 3 connected via USB cable. With these settings I was able to have a pretty smooth experience but anything higher caused more stutters and a lower frame rate than I was able to achieve with Silent Hill 2 VR (UEVR mod).

A Quiet Place VR mod / A Quiet Place The Road Ahead works really well in VR if you don't mind playing without motion controls, similar to Alien Isolation players are overwhelmed with a sense of terror as the creatures get close and start listening for any little noises you might make. If the action can continue to ramp up this could be a great new VR experience / new VR game for fans of the films or those just looking for a decent scary stealth game.
