A simple but beautiful Cinnamon desktop customization - Linux Mint 21.1 (More info in description)
Mint's stock Cinnamon DE it's already nice without need of any third party elements... but let's try something:
- Dracula GTK Theme: https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1687249 (decompress the downloaded Dracula.tar.xz file, and move the "Dracula" folder to /home/(YOURUSER)/.themes (".themes" is a hidden folder. Press Ctrl+H to show it).
- AI generated Wallpapers: https://github.com/Schneegans/ai-wallpapers
- Official Dracula Firefox Theme: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/dracula-dark-colorscheme/
- Multicolor folders: Use any Mint-Y Legacy Dark icons as a base, and then by right-clicking on any folder, individually choose the color you like. (Search "Themes" on start menu to change it)
- Centered app launchers in taskbar: Right click on the taskbar and then enter in "Panel Edit Mode". Drag the launchers zone to the center of the taskbar, and drop it there. Quit panel editing mode.
- Taskbar height: 31 (Right click on the taskbar and then "Panel Settings" to change it)
- Start menu icon size: 23 (right click on start menu, "configure" to change it)
- Hide Nemo Menu Bar: Click "View" on Nemo File Manager, and then uncheck "Menu Bar" (right click on the same zone to show it again)
- Change "Show desktop"applet on the lower-right corner of the taskbar, in a Show workspaces/Exposé: Right clicking on the applet and then, Configure. Choose left click to show workspaces and middle click to open windows exposé.
