Flik is an ant full of ideas and always causing trouble in his colony. His latest accident was destroying food that would be used to pay Hopper the grasshopper. Now Hopper is demanding twice as much or the colony will be annihilated. To avert disaster, Flik tries to recruit fighters to defend the place, and when he encounters a flock of flying insects, he believes he has found his salvation.
