At 4+ minutes, I'd say this level's way too long for you to use ye olde "fly over ye goal tape" trick for the secret exit. The room itself isn't too bad, since the autoscroll does help the way back feel different, but it could use another powerup, I think. Also, I've never entered that door next to the keyhole, but I wouldn't be surprised if it sent you back to that door way back at the beginning of the stage :/
