67In this travel vlog I walk the streets towards the city centre of Xi’an, China. Xi’an is a 9 million people city and capital of Shaanxi Province in central China. Once known as Chang’an (Eternal Peace), it marks the Silk Road’s eastern end and was home to the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties' ruling houses. At archaeological sites in Xi’an’s surrounding plains are the famed Bingmayong (Terra Cotta Army). But today it’s just an urban megacity and I’ll take you on a walk to the city centre. We’re avoiding tourist attractions like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or the large City wall in favour of a more gritty, urban, neon cyberpunk’esque experience. I hope you guys enjoy.
