Hi guys! 😊 This quest begins after defeating the Dragon in The Final Battle. The Arisen is returned to their house in Cassardis and is required to head back to Gran Soren.

Notes
It is recommended to obtain Badge of Vows 83 before starting this quest, since the hostile guards will make acquiring the badge very difficult.
The new and dangerous monsters in the outside world remain until the completion of the Arisen's quest. This state is known as Post-Game - for more details of the changes wrought in Gransys and in Gran Soren, see that article. See also The Everfall (Post-Dragon).
Depending on the amount of affinity the Arisen had with Ser Maximilian, his dialogue will be more or less abrasive or sympathetic - either way he orders his men to take the Arisen.
(Glitch) If Ser Maximilian has become the Arisen's Beloved he will not appear in the cutscene in which he commands the troops to apprehend them, but his voice lines will still play.
Once this quest is complete, the Noble Quarter cannot be entered without encountering hostiles, and the Duke's Demesne becomes inaccessible.
If battle with the guards is continued in the Urban Quarter or Craftsman's Quarter, the hostile guards will even attack innocent unhired pawns.
Despite being a key plot moment, completion of this quest is optional - once in Gran Soren and before talking to the duke, jumping into the Everfall and grabbing the uppermost ledge will start the cutscene with Quince and initiate Fathom Deep.
It is possible to slip past the quest-giving guards stationed at various points including outside the Pawn Guild.
The Duke is hardly a challenge. He can even be picked up most of the time.
