First and foremost, the game pretends to support ultrawide resolution but it sadly does not. What happens is the same thing that I came across another title, Kill it with fire. These two of course are not the only titles to do this. The game actually zooms in enough to present itself in ultrawide and it cuts out the top and bottom portions of the screen. What I do not understand is that since this is a mobile port, why is it not optimised for wider screens? Virtually all new phones coming out in the past few years are not ultra wide but wider than 16:9 standard.

Anyway, this is a simple game. You control Lara Croft in her quest to go through multiple puzzle stages in order to reach the end goal. You must solve puzzles and avoid or kill enemies in the process.

The way you move around is by swiping (clicking and dragging) towards whichever direction you desire to move. Generally the moving paths are very few in directions you can move. It can be quite challenging at times but eventually you can come up with the solutions to the puzzles without provoking too much thought.

A couple of issues I had with the game revolved around the aspect ratio not having been optimised properly. Some enemies are hiding on the cropped out areas and therefore you will inevitably run into them.

Another thing, minor, that I would like to criticise is that you cannot kill enemies that are facing you with your dual pistols. You can however throw a javelin at them and kill them. Mechanically, I see the necessity for such design choice. Logically however, it is something that I cannot help myself but criticise.

The game does have quite interesting concepts and mechanics that although I certainly appreciate and can recognise as a well put together game, it is not my cup of tea. I cannot however just recommend against it because of that reason.

If you like this type of game genre, then you should most certainly find something to love here. If you are like me and dislike puzzle games such as this one, then this is not going to turn you around.
