So ElanPaul has a time of 42 minutes in game, so now it is really really difficult. Let's see if I even have a chance of beating him.

Set Up:
1) Extreme Survival
2) Abandoned Universe
3) All Recipe's Unlocked
4) No Story missions

All settings set to max EXCEPT Permadeath (which turns off the recipes)

No Starter Ship can be used

Objective:
Find a crashed ship, fix all major components (Launch, Pulse, Hyperdrive, Shield and Cannons)

Make it to the Center of the Galaxy and go through.

Once you are through, make it to your ship. In and Out for the final Save point.

How you find a ship, how you get to the center, up to you.
ALL EXOCRAFT ARE ALLOWED!
Must be a timed and recorded run! This means make sure you have the time to finish it in one shot.
No cheating allowed, of course.
