5I don't know who exactly Apple is marketing the Vision Pro to, but it's pricepoint is cost prohibitive to average users. Headsets linked for reference and comparison.
Meta Quest 2/3 - Average of 200-300 USD entry 1000 Pro.
HTV Vive Pro - 500-1500 depending on the model.
Valve Index - 1400 as a kit.
- All on the shelf ready to buy with optional addons.
Vision Pro - 3500 and not on the shelf yet.
Each of them does what Vision Pro advertises in their own tech showcase, but does it better, its currently available, and isn't cost prohibitive.
