Abusing the HADOUKEN in Mega Man X (SNES)

In Mega Man X for the Super Nintendo, there's a hidden secret capsule that arms Mega Man X with the literal Hadouken. You know. It's the crazy blue fireball thingy that Ryu and Ken can shoot from their hands in the Street Fighter games (another Capcom franchise).

Essentially, in order to get the Hadouken upgrade, you will first need to collect EVERY collectible item in the game. Beat all bosses, get all Heart Tanks, get all upgrades.

Then, enter Armored Armadillo's stage and reach the top of the cliff above the boss door. I'm not sure if you 100% NEED to collect the capsule at the top of the cliff, and I also have heard you may need to get there with full health...

Regardless, you need to reach this cliff ABOVE THE ARMORED ARMADILLO boss doors a total of maybe 5 times? What I like to do is bring a whole bunch of extra lives to this level, reach the top of that cliff, jump down into the pit to the left, respawn at the checkpoint, then make my way back to the cliff.

BUT if you do everything right, Dr. Light will appear with one last upgrade capsule. When you enter it, X will become equipped with the Hadouken ki attack. You'll need full health to perform this attack, but it works just like in Street Fighter: QCF P! That is, quarter circle forward, punch. Slide your thumb from the down arrow on the D-Pad to Forward on the D-Pad then press SHOOT.
