AC6: Vs Branch ( Storm Stepper)
AC6 is quite an amazing game with one rather high skill floor to overcome making you learn and understand how not only your build works at it's best but your enemies strengths and weaknesses with this fight being one of the best examples of this as both King and Chartreuse can be fought in the arena before this point and Raven has a solo fight in the previous playthrough giving you the means to practice and sharpen up against them individually before figuring out how to handle them in this NG+ mission.
The AC I used for this fight is Storm Stepper a mobile machine with a focus on high base movement speed to move around the opponents effective range, it should be noted i do not have too much time on AC6 and as such I will point out my builds are likely far from the best they could be I just like showing cool mech fights.
Build:
Right-Arm Unit: Vvc-760PR: while having a weaker charge shot and higher heat build up than the NEBULA it's basic shot has higher attack, impact and a slightly larger AOE alongside having more ammo making it easier to use in missions as the main weapon.
Left-Arm Unit: DF-MG-02 CHENG CHEN: picked as a way to keep enemy build stun from dropping as well as act as a clean up tool against weak enemies to preserve ammo on longer missions, the effective range is usable enough and since it's purpose is just to mess with stun recovery the slightly lower all-round stats compared to the LUDLOW is made up for with the higher larger Magazine Size which helps it perform it's role in the build.
Right-Back Unit: EARSHOT: A Very costly addition to the build with a massive 7k weight but acts as Punish option for an AC that's earlier versions struggled to take advantage of such opportunities and the large blast radius makes it easier to catch opponents on a lower ground even if they get close.
Left-Back Unit: Vvc-760PM: Pairs well with the R-Arm Unit to throw down a constant swarm of electric aoe helping it wear down targets quicker, while the missiles do tend to miss a fair bit the aoe effect allows them to apply the intended pressure and the large ammo count allows them to be used pretty freely throughout missions.
Head: HD-012 MELANDER C3: Picked for an all-round decent stat line at a weight and EN Load the build could afford as both are cutting it rather close, outside of that the wide scan distance and effect duration made it helpful when playing through for spotting enemies and looking for collectibles
Core: CC-2000 Orbiter: While lacking on the defensive side it has well rounded Booster Efficiency, Generator Output and Supply while being extremely light and having a very low EN Load.
Arms: IA-CO1A: EPHEMERA: they have a good AP, energy and explosive defence while being rather lightweight, the low arms limit and so-so recoil control don't matter too much as the Arm weapons both have low recoil and the Earshot shouldn't be fired all that often.
Legs: EL-TL-10 FIRMEZA: Picked entirely having a decent jump on a bipead and being super low weight though is pretty terrible in just about every other aspect.
Booster: BST-G2/P06SPD: Picked entirely due to it's high thrust stat and low weight which give the AC a high boost speed.
FCS VE-21A: While the close-ranged assist is slightly lower than preferred it offers great mid-range and at close ranged a hop will let the aoe effect of the weapons make up for the slight downside in tracking, the build couldn't afford the En Load of the WLT 001 which would otherwise perform better.
Generator: VE-20A: Picked for it's light weight and Energy Firearms Spec while having just barely enough EN Output for the build.
