The YF-23, as seen in AC7, is by definition THE ultimate BVR predator. Sleek, stealthy, fast, and an actual menace when in the right hands- it's a very annoying aircraft tto go up against if you don't have enough situational awareness to counter those HVAAs that catch you in no less than a second.
But- What if we were to go a bit crazy? I had that thought when trying out the YF-23, and decided to make a proper dogfighting build out of it. HVAAs are stock on this thing; I was focusing on the Darkstar as it would be free points and I had tuned the aircraft to go as fast as possible (Variable Cycle 2 and High-Pressure Components 2) while still keeping some maneuverability.

The end result is literally an aircraft that can do it almost everything (PSM on the YF-23 is not a thing, sadly.) and with absolutely outstanding defensive capabilities. But, see it for yourself here instead of reading my useless blabbering!

Music is Through the Maelstrom, from Final Fantasy XIV- I love the way it kicked in during the actual chase.
