Acer Nitro VG270P Review Budget 27 inch 1080p 144 Hz IPS Gaming Monitor GSYNC Compatible Unofficial
My experience :
- Yes GSYNC works with it but for its best implementation , lock the game's fps to 3 lower than 144 fps (if you're running it at 144 Hz) , enable vsync through Nvidia control panel as a global setting and disable it through in game , it will work with displayport cable only , HDR will get disabled as HDR works with HDMI cable only , also make sure you have enabled GSYNC via Nvidia control panel for the monitor .
- IPS Glow and slight edge bleed is present , I got the AU Optronics panel and not the Innolux , in UFO fast fast motion test , there's some ghosting observed only , no inverse ghosting [Corona] or excessive motion blur observed .
- Enabling extreme vbr makes the image look sharp but doesn't fix ghosting , it dims the display as well , I won't be using it ever , during real life gameplay , I doubt a lot of people will catch this ghosting , its GTG should be around 7-11 ms .
- Good brightness levels with HDR enabled . Its not HDR 10 , most probably HDR 400 , GSYNC can be tested using nvidia's pendulum demo .
- To enable HDR with GSYNC , connect both the HDMI and Display port cable from your GPU to the monitor , switch to HDMI mode , both features will work now . Monitor comes with only 1 HDMI 2.0 cable .
