A tongue-in-cheek reference the the term 'asset flip', this game is intended to do what many don't ; take existing
assets and build a unique, fun game out of them. Built to resemble existing asset packs, Acid Flip takes the term
literally, using gravity to 'flip' these so called 'assets'. It's a physics action game where you throw zombies into the
air and then smash them into the dirt!
The term 'asset flip' has come about to describe a worrying phenomenon. A large amount of games that are coming to
market these days are little more than re-releases of asset packs made available on storefronts like the unity store.
These asset packs are able to be re-published by the purchaser and many people do so without making any real changes or
putting in any real work.
Instead of doing this, Acid Flip takes the guise of an existing asset pack, whilst at the same time becoming its own
game with original graphics, sound and gameplay.
In this game, the 'Acid' is used to flip the monsters into the air and smash them into the ground. You have to be
careful though! you will be flipped into the air too! So you must lure the monsters to follow you and as soon as you are
under a ceiling you are safe and can flip them! Of course this is not always easy, if there are some under the ceiling
they will be safe too and will get you anyway.
Acid Flip is currently at beta, and is being worked on day by day. Gameplay is 98% complete. Levels still need a fair
bit of work, with what has been completed being challenging and fun.
