Seriously, this mission is intense. I tried this so many times before finding a tactic that works (protip: fly Hornet). The most important element to saving the Euphrates is wiping out as many capital ship anti-ship turrets as possible. This means eliminating the 2 silos on the Excelsior ASAP, and wiping out all Mass Drivers on the Majestic, Independence, and Dauntless as soon as they jump in...
At least that's how I did it the one time I succeeded without recording. Then Darius tells me you can just splash the Weapons subsystems, so that's what I attempted here. There is no greater feeling than accomplishing so much without killing a single fighter in this mission.
