Game Boy pirate carts... okay. This is a video for a couple of GB/GBC pirate carts we own. I think we own one or two more, but I don't know where they are. I'm going to focus on these two for now. Oddly enough, they are both 18-in-1 pirate carts, but with very different games.

Action For Color Game Boy (the cart on the left) has an odd assortment of games from commercial titles to bootlegs to hacks. This one is pretty mediocre overall. Super 18 IN 1 (B) has a slightly better assortment of commercial U.S. and Japanese titles. It's the cart on the right with Goku, Piccolo and Vegeta.

These videos won't go into much detail since we own most of the individual games on this cart, but it's something to pass the time. This video contains four of the eighteen games:

4) Pokemon Advance (Adventure) - HOOOOORIBLE ass game. Reeks of ass. Did I mention it sucks? Okay...this game seems to be "inspired" or "the same" as a GB hack I've seen called "Sonic Adventure", which I've watched in fellow YouTuber ARProductions channel. It's just as horrible...horrible music, mediocre visuals, absolute BS controls...in fact, he has a spin dash (like Sonic) that's completely useless, as he gets hit when he rolls into enemies...come on, it's not the damn Sonic Peel-Out, it's a friggin' spin dash! Doesn't matter anyway, since he seems to keep moving even when you stop running and moves so abruptly, even in air! Falling in spikes is generally instant death since you keep bouncing on them until you die as there is no hit recovery from them.

Pokeballs (rings) are almost useless...you grab some, but when you get hit, you lose ALL of them with no chance to grab any more. Level design is the pinnacle of fail...too cramped and campy, enemies everywhere, some which can't even be killed. If you beat the first three levels (The third level has freakin' Koopas from Mario games and "Hard Hat" enemies from Mega Man!), consider yourself to have mad skillz...I did a normal jump on the third level and fell right through the floor and died...I gave up all hope for it after that.

5) International Superstar Soccer - It's soccer...cool music, what little there is. This game makes me appreciate J League Soccer for Game Gear. It's not terrible...certainly playable. I've played worse...GOAL!!

6) Hugo 2 1/2 - As you may have noticed, this game (or this version of the game) was developed by the German division of Infogrames. Therefore, the language is in German and relatively incomprehensible to me, though I can make out a few words. Strange game...looks and sounds decent. It is a compilation of various mini-games. Enjoyable in small amounts.

7) Super Mario Land - Super Mario Land. I'm sure you know what this is. It's useless for me to say anything about it...well, I'll say this; Getting 3-ups is rewarding.
