So, during the time which ended up spawning a really goofy video of me, I just had this build-up of a desire to do Advance Wars videos. I'm not in a good position to LP one at the moment, but I can record myself doing Versus battles with the CPU. So, expect a few videos of this alongside LPs. Also, I'm not using a DS emulator yet, so don't expect Dual Strike or Days of Ruin battles from me for quite some time. I prefer not to have an emulator of a current-gen handheld. I'd rather wait until the active generation is passed on to the 3DS completely, first.

All the info is shown in the video, so I'm just going to cut to opinionating on my own battle. First off, I got rid of animations. After a test run, I saw that battles without animations go nearly twice as fast as battles with animations. As much as many of us love those Advance Wars animations, I decided not to add them for the sake of shortening the video. Believe me, you will come to hate them if I left them in. Secondly, my baiting with the B-Copter was successful, largely due to Olaf's under-par AI. However, I could've used Hyper Repair to fix the unit, but I waited too long to try for Hyper Upgrade, which made Hyper Repair more of a dramatic effect instead of a useful strategy at the end. Lastly, capturing cities had little to no point. I just did in case I needed to repair one of my ground units.
