Advanced Mobility - gotta go fast - Rivals of Aether OC movement style Flying AirDash playaround
For a brief period after you jump a variable helps check if you're holding the jump button, adding upwards momentum if you are, to ensure you can shorthop or fullhop to your desired platform even with a shorthop designed for fast aerial usage. The character's gimmick: the Fly/Unfly button. It works without any directional input held, hold to fly and release to stop flying, which interrupts your state and resets it to idle-air, increasing APM potential. You get 5 midair jumps and all aerials are cancellable with a double jump cancel double jump. Combos have never been sicker. Finally, the character's Airdash option, a unique but unsafe mobility tool that lacks invincibility. Input a direction (besides down on the ground, which triggers a Parry) and hit Shield to AirDash. No startup frames, no jumpsquat, just instant overhead aerials in a game without traditional overheads. You get two AirDashes in the air, and performing a third AirDash from the ground into the air won't count towards that. In this video I also displayed the taunt, and the crouch, and the crouching attack. It was hard to fit this Big Body Fly/Unfly Rushdown character into the hitbox of a crouching character, but I made it work. All of her speedy offensive potential is perfectly balanced by her ridiculous size. If Fox is combo food for being a medium-sized fastfaller, this large fastfaller is a combo buffet.
