Adventures in MOULa - Minkata (Faster, Easier, if no shadows)
0Welcome to Minkata - the age of wind, sand and extreme landscape. This age can only be found in the online version of URU. No trees or vegetation here. Bring your own water! Yet it's one of my favorite ages.
In this playthrough I use landmarks to point me to the kivas. When this age originally came out not everyone was able to see shadows on their computers. Because this age uses the sun and shadows for compass points, this was frustrating many who couldn't complete the age without seeing the shadows unless they followed someone who could see the shadows.
Smart explorers to the rescue who figured out how to find the kivas using landmarks. It's still very precise - if you are off just a bit you may totally miss the kiva. And the way back, after touching the stone and turning the day to night, still uses the stars (as the stone says, Follow The Stars).
In this playthrough I remember to also pick up the hiking shoes in Kiva 4, night time version. Kiva 3 contains the sparkly which I picked up in the other playthrough... that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NimsgJyfwzY
Again, the awesome music of Minkata has been replace by royalty free music.
PS... the soccer ball in the thumbnail is no longer available. Seems a recent update made it disappear.
