While I don't have any sprites for it yet, got my version of Doom 3's Soul Cube working in Doom 2. It automatically homes in on targets, dealing a pretty large amount of damage, then it returns to the player and heals the player for the amount of damage it did. If it didn't hit anything, it adds itself back to the player's inventory.

Crappy grenade sprites because no Soul Cube.
