I understand the concept of putting the old fleet to rest and getting parts from used bikes, but new scooters are a PANDORAS box. If you can't get the parts on time from a supplier you shouldn't destroy new units. I've seen this from the Chinese dealership to the high end Italian only boutique stores. If a floor checker comes into the shop and sees a new Aprilia destroyed for parts and that VIN is on flooring you will have a problem.
