to left of tobacco shop
Look at the closed store (on the right of tobacco store) – For rent sign, above cat poster, trash cans
Enter tobacco shop
Observe the window front shelf- – newspapers, boxes, empty floor
Look at counter – bag, ABC guide, and fingerprints on right
Look at the shelf behind the counter at cigarettes
Check the Register on the counter next (Puzzle)
Look at 8-- on right, unlock to the flip lock on left and look at the -5-
Interact with register – open register notice the -2-. Go back to the front of register press 8, 5, 2 you'll see secret compartment open up and a key. Take the key (ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED) Single gear
Look in inventory and choose - Little Grey Cells
Q.How do we explain the presence of an ABC guide on the counter?
A.No railway guide for sale in the tobacco shop, There are no fingerprints on the guide., Letter signed ABC announcing the Andover murder.
After right deduction (ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED - Neuron.
Q.Was Mrs Ascher killed on site?
A.A pool of blood near her head., No other marks on the floor.
Q.Is theft the motive for the crime?
A. The till is untouched and is full of money, No objects of value for sale in this shop.
Now look at the murder victim

Now use the key from register in locked door – enter bedroom
Mrs. Ascher Bedroom
Observe bed:
Pillow, handkerchief and overturned picture on nightstand
Dresser Puzzle
Move wooden flower to the center. Look at front of dresser (the top of the dresser shows which directions the birds need to face. Turn (left is down and left; both right ones are up).
Look at items in dresser a bottle of medicine, and letter
Box Puzzle
Look at each side and move the wood sliders to find a button you can press (4 total buttons to unlock) once found Open the box look at the necklace, then take the photo.
Observe kitchen area back right side of wall

Go back outside

Observe Nancy - an extinguished cigarette, a full ashtray and a box of matches. Also look at bottle of vinegar on ground.

A.Packets in a muddle on the shelf.
A.She has just one wound at the back of her head (5 ego points).

Talk to Mary – (If you are rude to Mary and making her crying even more, you will get the Achievement Dali moustache.

Franz Ascher will come in look at what he knocked off the shelf – stockings, ledger
Go outside and talk to Nancy again

Q.Can we establish the time range during which Mrs Ascher was killed ?
A.The body was found at about 11 pm.
A.Mrs Ascher was seen alive at 5.30 pm.
Q.Can we reduce this time range and why?

A.Because of the counter, the body is not visible from the tobacco shop's door
