Part 19
This is it, the final episode. We arrive at the floating temple, (eventually) ascend to the top where the Red Goddess is waiting for us, and she relinquishes the throne to us. Our soul floats off into a big wall of light, and we are greeted with the end of Level 4 screen. However, this is not completely the end. We have one last trek to the Tower of Babel, now that we have learned who we are, King Nimrod. At the Tower of Babel, we find Satan himself, and have our final battle to end the game. The ending may be open for interpretation, but it appears the Red Goddess was using us to piss of Satan enough to tear a hole in the tower, and break the barrier between Hell and Earth. We see the Red Goddess riding atop the beast as they rise from the sea to walk the Earth. We are squished under foot, as the screen goes black and the credits begin to roll. Finally, we are free. I appreciated the thought behind this game, but it was so poorly executed on the Xbox version, that it was more of a chore to complete. Hopefully it brought some entertainment to you guys, and thank you all for your support in watching my agonizing playthrough of Agony. I'll see you all in the next game!
