The ITU AI/ML in 5G Challenge in 2023 (Fourth edition) offers a platform for collaboratively addressing the problems in applying AI/ML in communication networks including 5G & 6G. The Challenge connects participants (students and professionals) from more than 100 countries, with industry and academia solving real-world problems using AI/ML in communication networks. The challenge is offering 12 problem statement in 2023. Some of these problem statements includes; \n\nMulti Modal V2V Beam Prediction \nDepth Map Estimation in 6G mmWave systems \n3D Location Estimation Using RSSI of Wireless LAN \nThe Multi Modal V2V Beam Prediction challenge revolves around crafting machine learning-based solutions that harness the power of a multi-modal sensing dataset, combining visual and positional data modalities within a V2V scenario. The ultimate goal? Predict the future optimal mmWave beam index with precision and efficiency. \n\nDepth Map Estimation in 6G mmWave systems Challenge aimed to develop ML solutions using communication signals to perform depth map estimation. \n\nWhilst the 3D Location Estimation Using RSSI of Wireless LAN challenge aims to develop an AI/ML-based localization algorithm that can accurately estimate the position of a receiver based on RSS information from surrounding radio transmitters including height information (enabling the estimation of the target’s 3D location). \n\nThis weinar covers a presentation from best teams of this competition and winners will be announced at the end of the session to recognize their outbstanding performance.    \n\nThe AI for Good Global Summit is the leading action-oriented United Nations platform promoting AI to advance health, climate, gender, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure, and other global development priorities. AI for Good is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) – the UN specialized agency for information and communication technology – in partnership with 40 UN sister agencies and co-convened with the government of Switzerland.\n\nJoin the Neural Network!\nhttps://aiforgood.itu.int/neural-network/\nThe AI for Good networking community platform powered by AI. \nDesigned to help users build connections with innovators and experts, link innovative ideas with social impact opportunities, and bring the community together to advance the SDGs using AI.\n\n Watch the latest #AIforGood videos!\n\n\n Stay updated and join our weekly AI for Good newsletter:\nhttp://eepurl.com/gI2kJ5\n\nCheck out the latest AI for Good news:\nhttps://aiforgood.itu.int/newsroom/\n\nExplore the AI for Good blog:\nhttps://aiforgood.itu.int/ai-for-good-blog/\n\n Connect on our social media:\nWebsite: https://aiforgood.itu.int/\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/AIforGood\nLinkedIn Page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/26511907 \nLinkedIn Group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8567748 \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/aiforgood \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/AIforGood\n\nDisclaimer:\nThe views and opinions expressed are those of the panelists and do not reflect the official policy of the ITU.
