🛸Part space opera and part heavy metal, the soundtrack to Air Fortress is one of the coolest musical scores on the NES. It was composed by the legendary Hideki Kanazashi, who also composed the iconic music for the Adventures of Lolo series. The game itself is an innovative sci-fi game with each level split into two halves--a sidescrolling space-shooter approaching the enemy air fortress and then a maze-like explorer within.

The Overture is a dramatic mini-epic that's reminiscent of the classic space operas of the past, like Flash Gordon and Star Wars. I'm playing this on a Casio CTK-496 keyboard--not the fanciest instrument in the world but it sure is fun to play! I hope you enjoy this cover!
