Al Ewing ushers in a new era for Thor, promising to best every story he's written prior. It's obvious that Ewing has a love for the mythology and this first story arc promises to be interesting, but will Ewing be able to maintain the scale of this conflict in later arcs? My biggest gripe is his inconsistent writing of Thor. In some pages he sounds like the Thor of old and in others it seems like Thor was replaced by an LMD. Hopefully Al Ewing can get into his groove with the character.
