Alan Wake is a psychological horror action-adventure game developed by Nitro Games and published by Remedy Entertainment in 2012 for PC. An Xbox 360 port was released almost two years prior to the PC port, which was developed by Remedy and published by Microsoft in 2010. In this game, Alan Wake, a bestselling crime fiction author, goes on vacation in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls where strange things start to happen, including the disappearance of his wife, Alice. After waking up in a crashed car, he starts to find pages of a manuscript he doesn't remember writing and people taken over by a dark presence. Alan Wake is available on Steam for $14.99.
