I was recently listening to the first stage theme from the Sega System 16A arcade game Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars, and I realized how much better this song would sound in F major compared to the key of C major in the arcade version and the key of G major in the Master System version, especially due to its jazzy style. I also realized how cool the song would sound with some Nintendo-style chords (which was also why I used them in my recent Famicom Disk System cover of Block Town from Pac-Mania), so I threw those in the main melody. Tweaking the chords to sound just right was a pretty tricky task I must say, but this cover ending up turning out fantastic (at least that's how I feel)! I hope you guys enjoy this one, and stay tuned for my upcoming fighting games video (also shoutout to my awesome friend Jade (@LucyDollie) who's a big Alex Kidd fan; this one's for you buddy)! ^w^
