Alfred Tries To Play: Cacoma Knight in Bizyland (SNES)
Save the kingdom with your magical chalk! No, I am not describing an episode of vintage cartoon classic ChalkZone, rather this Qix knockoff on SNES.
So it's the usual Qix gameplay- section off areas of the screen by drawing lines and you finish the level once you section off a certain percentage of the screen. Here however, you can erase a line you're currently drawing and when you die, you resume where you were, so you don't return to the edge and have to redraw an entire line.
Being a Qix knockoff, it gets enough right to be enjoyable, though it's quite easy- it's not too hard to get quite far into the game and also it's unclear what enemies are harmful when drawing lines- some enemies cross my line and I live, others that do the same kill me.
Also I don't get why the intro is played after the game over sequence- I've seen 1 or 2 other videos that feature the intro at the start and others that like this start at the title screen- is this a regional difference between the Western and Japanese versions?
