Alice in Borderland is a Netflix television series based on the Japanese manga of the same name written by Haro Aso. The first season was released on the platform on December 10, 2020. It is set in a dystopian world and features Arisu, an unemployed boy and video game enthusiast who, along with his two friends Karube and Chota, finds himself catapulted into a suddenly deserted city in Tokyo.
He soon realizes that in order to survive in this new and alienating reality, he must face and overcome deadly games.
