This is the start of a blind playthrough of the game Alice: Madness Returns. I should say here that this game is not very good. It has an interesting premise, and parts of the game are fun and interesting, but many other parts are boring, repetitive, and shoddy. It seems like a game where some talented game designers have started making a game, then they handed it off to some underpaid and unmotivated interns to finish. There are moments of brilliance, and there are moments of unfulfilled potential, and there are moments of banal repetition.

We start the game with slow walking through the city. The game's not very subtle in telling you that everything is terrible and that you should wallow in self-pity.
