This is part 1 of my Alien Breed 3D: Project Osiris playthrough.

Alien Breed 3D will doubtless be familiar with Amiga users in the 90s. Maybe less so with anyone else.
Everyone at the time was trying to make Doom clones, but to be honest, the Amiga was ill-equipped to do so. Nevertheless, there were a few. I personally only remember playing this and Gloom.
The last time I played AB3D was when it was released, some twenty seven years ago... but I decided to give it another go.
I had actually recorded the first seven levels of the original (playing in WinUAE), but it was bloody painful. THE CONTROLS! I became aware of a patch that allowed mouse and keys, but you had to create a HD, download this, install that, blah blah... and frankly I couldn't be arsed.
Then (just now) I discovered AB3D: Project Osiris, which is a remake mod that runs in GZDoom. Much easier, much better to play, runs in wide, and much less faffing about... so here I go.
On writing this I have only played the first two levels. I believe there are some extra odds and sods, but I'll see how it goes.
I don't plan on it, but maybe I'll finish and upload the original recordings. Who knows? That's a question for a later time.
