Alien Breed: Tower Assault is the sequel to Alien Breed 2, and this time they seem to have got it right. The frantic excessive swarms of aliens have been made manageable, and the atmosphere is much better. The feeling is tense rather than panicked. Also the most welcome new feature is RETREAT MODE, the ability to walk backwards slowly while firing. It took them a while but at least they got it in the end. The game also features various paths through the environment, which adds to the variety and replayability. Easily my favourite of the Alien Breed games.
"Ain't Played In Ages" is a live narrated walkthrough / let's play series of various games that I haven't played for many years. Usually I'm playing them in the video for the first time since I was a kid. That's a long time ago.
