EDIT: Since I made this video I suggest to make soft shadows: Soft, and not Nvidia PCSS. Using Nvidia PCSS, while making shadows look better, is also costly on frame rate. Also lower extended distance scaling to 0%.

One week after I got an Aurora R5 w/ I7, and GTX 970, and I had to do both of the above to maintain 60fps. Coming soon I'll have a GTX 1080, and Ultrawide G-sync Acer X34 @ 3440 x 1440p, which I'll do another video for.

After several WEEKS of adjusting various settings on the Alienware Alpha for GTAV, in an attempt to achieve 60 frames per second, I've come to what I believe is the optimal settings to play GTAV on the i3 Alpha.

In this video I go through every setting I recommend for the optimal experience when using the i3 Alienware Alpha (GTAV). When set to adaptive (half), or 30fps, it might appear as if there was stuttering in the video, but that was movement of the right analog for the camera. I played for several hours last night, checked Riva Tuner for Framerate stats, and it stays @ 30 w/ a rare frame (As in, 1-2 frames) drop. In other words, it runs great @ these settings.
