I wanted to buy Doom but was unsure as to the performance I would receive on the Alienware Alpha i3 so I found you could download a demo on Steam! Go to the store page on the right you will see a download demo link so you can try the game for yourself.

You could get better performance easily by reducing the graphics levels but 30 - 45 on average is fine by me to play. With tweaking I am confident you could around 60.
