BMW has a long history of bringing very desirable machinery onto the market and BMW Motorrad is no different. When they first launched the HP for High Performance models, those bikes were bespoke and fitted with the best of the best equipment available at the time. 3 Years ago BMW Motorrad dropped the designation HP for the better known symbol of "M" as per their iconic motorsport cars they produce.
The stunning M1000RR was the first to hit the scene and last year in 2022 they released the M1000RR 50th Anniversary, celebrating the famous M symbols 50th year of existence. This spectacular model was only produced in Sao Paolo Yellow and only 500 units were produced.
All New for 2023 is the first naked M motorcycle in the form of the M1000R. I was fortunate to see the very first one in South Africa and had the chance to compare her side by side to the 2022 M1000RR
