All New 2024 Ford Explorer Electric - FIRST LOOK exterior
The Ford Explorer electric SUV, initially slated for a release in the Autumn of this year, has been postponed to the summer of 2024. This SUV is Ford's second pure-electric offering and is expected to be a strong competitor to vehicles like the Kia EV6 and Skoda Enyaq.\n\nWhile the Explorer shares many components with the Volkswagen ID4, its design is distinctively unique. The exterior boasts a rugged appearance, accentuated by angular headlights, an upright front end, and the absence of fake grilles, which are common in some other electric vehicles. The side profile reveals a boxy theme with black plastic cladding, hinting at an off-road capability.\n\nThe inside of the Explorer is as unique as its exterior. Dominated by a massive 14.6-inch touchscreen that can be adjusted for angle, the dashboard also hides storage behind the screen. The vehicle also features a wireless charging pad, a spacious centre console, a square steering wheel, and a digital driver's display. Notable standard equipment includes heated massage seats, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, and a power tailgate.\n\nPotential buyers can choose between a 52kWh or a 77kWh battery. The larger battery, when paired with rear-wheel drive, promises a range of up to 335 miles. In contrast, the smaller battery variant is expected to deliver around 220 miles on a full charge. Charging capabilities are impressive, with the ability to charge from 10-80% in just 25 minutes using a DC fast charger.\n\nThe Explorer will offer both single and dual-motor configurations. The entry-level version with the smaller battery will be rear-wheel drive, while the 77kWh single-motor variant will produce 285hp. The dual-motor version, on the other hand, will boast 340hp, aligning it with vehicles like the Volkswagen ID5 GTX and the upcoming Cupra Tavascan.\n\nThe Ford Explorer will be equipped with a range of driver assistance technologies. One of the standout features is the lane change assist, which can automatically change lanes at the touch of the indicator.\n\nWith these features and specifications, the Ford Explorer electric SUV is poised to be a strong contender in the electric vehicle market once it hits the roads in 2024.\n\n#FordExplorer2024\n#FordExplorer\n#FordExplorerfirstlook\n#FordExplorer2024exterior\n#FordExplorer2024interior\n#FordExplorerwalkaround\n#FordExplorerdetails\n#FordExplorernew\n\n➡️ Discover all new cars before anyone else!
