The larger battery, when paired with rear-wheel drive, promises a range of up to 335 miles. In contrast, the smaller battery variant is expected to deliver around 220 miles on a full charge. Charging capabilities are impressive, with the ability to charge from 10-80% in just 25 minutes using a DC fast charger.\n\nThe Explorer will offer both single and dual-motor configurations. The entry-level version with the smaller battery will be rear-wheel drive, while the 77kWh single-motor variant will produce 285hp. The dual-motor version, on the other hand, will boast 340hp, aligning it with vehicles like the Volkswagen ID5 GTX and the upcoming Cupra Tavascan.\n\nThe Ford Explorer will be equipped with a range of driver assistance technologies.
