This game was made by IBM in 1984. You can download it here:\nhttp://www.abandonia.com/en/games/24/Alley+Cat.html\nyou can play it in dosbox. A very simple game where you as a cat can jump into windows and catch mice, score lady-cats or jump into fish-bowls and eat gold-fish (and avoid electric eels).\n\nBack in the day such a game like this actually worked quite well. I think its because the lack of graphics in all computer games everywhere made people use their igagination - remember that this is 1984 we are talking about, i was born in that year, It was back when atari was the big thing (actually this is a converted atari game i am told). I never played this game, but my bigger brother played it once back in the early 90ties. He was impressed by the game-play (but not the CGA-graphics) and when he told me about my mind almost exploded. Because he told me about it and i imagined a game with super grapics and unlimited things to do. I imagined a grand theft auto-kind of game with a cat, where you could do what you want. Now 20 years after i can see its not what it was cranked up to be, but i still liked it. Yes i finally played it here in 2010, 25-26 years after it was made. But it brings me back to the early 90ties when my bigger brother told me about it. It was still cool that you could jump into people´s appartments and swim around in their gold-fish bowls, i´ve gotta give ´em that. \nStill it could be cool if they made this game today, just made it more grand-theft-auto like.
