Alone in the Dark is a classic and iconic survival horror game from 1992 that ran under MS-DOS using nothing but standard VGA graphics! Before 3D graphics accelerator cards became the norm, this game pushed the envelope and forged a genre that would later become games like Resident Evil and so on.
