Alternate Weapons Pack - Mod Preview (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl)
Combines the original roster of weapons from the original three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games with their real-life counterparts, adding an extra touch of realism to a barren wasteland that's teeming with danger at every turn. Available in three different versions! Read on for further details.
Also features native CRA Project (Classic Reanimated Armaments Project) integration alongside the two differing primary versions of this mod (one with exclusively vanilla weapons, and another that mixes these with their real-life counterparts). Different patches for NPC loadouts are enclosed within the files of this mod (see the readme.txt document that comes with all versions of this mod for details). The version of this mod that uses SoC animations only supports vanilla versions of any in-game weapons, though upgraded variants are still included. All three versions of this mod have been linked below.
All three versions of the Alternate Weapons Pack were made to be used with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl (1.4.22) modification only. This mod also revises the variants system by labelling vanilla weapons as "Alternate" weapons and their real-life counterparts as "Standard" weapons. All weapons throughout all three versions of this mod have been given their real-life names, though all "Alternate" weapons still have their original in-game designations viewable via their inventory descriptions, where possible (i.e. the vanilla FN F2000 still has "FT-200M" marked in its in-game description). In the context of modding, "vanilla" refers to an unmodded version of something or, in this case, something that aims to replicate such assets.
