Close, but no cigar. With some better luck this might have been a sub-2 run, but I guess with some worse luck it could have easily been a lot slower...

Tier 1 tree pull was red rupees and I abused that to ensure that I had enough money for Zora. I didn't skip front of escape this time! Got my gloves, did south shore checks, fake flippered to get lamp on hobo.

This was the first real decision point -- do you head to EP, knowing that you may have to come back later with the bow, or do you head up to death mountain out of logic? With hookshot in hand, death mountain was very promising, so I decided to go there.

Death Mountain gave you moon pearl (old man), hammer/shovel (paradox cave), mirror (moldorm), and flute (spectacle rock), as well as seeing a bow on floating island. Flute being on death mountain was a huge clue as it meant that all of this was flipper-locked. That meant flippers was most likely in EP area, and if not, it was at Agina.

I didn't see a strong need to go look for the flippers right away -- I was hoping to find titan's mitts, then go grab bow in order to just full clear PoD/EP in one go. Well...yeah, that didn't work out.

I dipped the front of SW and checked bumper cave/GY ledge (nothing)...before heading down into TT. Clearing the back of SW wasn't even an option at this point because no sword =(

At this point I did EP first to grab the flippers, and bailed out, heading to SP. My hope, again, was to try and find Titan's Mitts, then grab the bow to avoid a PoD double dip. Not so....SP and waterfall cave were complete blanks. Got my 4 items in PoD (book!), cleared DP (bow!), finished up PoD and EP, and checked Pyramid Fairy and Dark Cross before finally going and getting the mitts from SW.

Then it was the dreaded somaria hunt...checked mire area, smithy chain, and east dark world death mountain before doing IP. At least I avoided stepping into MM.

This seed wanted you to dip EP (flippers) and PoD (book), and you also needed to full clear IP, and beat mothula. You theoretically could have avoided double-dipping EP via fake flippering to hobo and IP, but that would have required you predicting that SP would be a complete blank, which doesn't make any sense.

In order to have a great time at this seed I think you had to do one or more of these things:
- Skip a bunch of overworld checks (gy ledge, catfish, smithy chain)
- Have a soul read on pendant IP
- Do sahasrahla before dark world, then full clear SW with fighter sword and 6-7 hearts after grabbing the fire rod from TT...

My time wasn't too bad in retrospect and comparing with some others. I managed to take down blind with hammer and a bit of byrna juice, aided with a fairy, and I made judicious use of blues for safety elsewhere, so I didn't have any costly deaths. I made a silly mistake and failed to turn in purple chest, but luckily that didn't end up mattering.
