In v31.2.0 of the A Link to the Past: Randomizer a "FastROM conversion" has been implemented which reduces lag in most conditions (see https://alttpr.com/en/updates)

I haven't seen many side-by-side videos relating to this change, so here is a comparison of a strat with an obvious and large difference in timing and feel. (1-cycle on Ganon phase 2 with master sword using a somaria block) SlowROM is on the left, FastROM on the right.

Besides the ~5 seconds of lag difference, the FastROM version is substantially easier to execute since the spin slash timing is consistent.
