Aluminum Part 1 -- Refinery Fluid Loop
In this recording, I lay out the core of the Aluminum Factory, the part that I think is the bit that causes the most problems: the fluid loop.
I will be using only technologies that everyone could (and should) have unlocked before unlocking aluminum; and this build will not use any alternate recipes.
This is where we combine Bauxite and Water to produce Alumina Solution (and some Silica), then process that (with some Coal) into Aluminum Scrap and some water.
There are several approaches to dealing with the water. In the past I have made use of the VIP (search for Pipeline Manual on the Satisfactory Wiki at wiki.gg for details), but found that it could deadlock. I will be using the "Mergeless" strategy, where the recycled water is not mixed with the fresh water; the trade-off is a slower production ramp-up.
