What's happening is this: the game is trying to put the thing you grabbed in the spot that you're looking at. Except... you can look at the thing you're grabbing. So it places the thing you're grabbing on top of the thing you're grabbing... which keeps moving since it keeps getting placed on top of itself. It does this over and over until it's inside of your head. At that point, you're looking THROUGH it to the world behind it, so it gets placed there - and the cycle repeats. Since the framerate is high, it ends up moving around A LOT. Hence the chaos.
