Kinda hard to get a clean video of this, but this should explain the ideas. Optimally it's probably 25-30sec slower than the wheel mix route, so it's definitely worth learning the mix.

Note that the strat on the Mr. Flosty [sic] fight only works on the Japanese version due to missile damage values. Azuregate would get rid of missile during this fight, but the missile movement after the fight would be familiar to any 100% runner.
