How far can we push this puny little dual-core #AMD A6 6400k integrated GPU? Is it a viable CPU/GPU for gaming? Well, you certainly can't play GTAV on it.

I know that at least a dozen comments are going to point out that my memory wasn't overclocked. If you watch the section of the video where I'm in the BIOS, I've got the RAM voltage at 1.64v and channel & rank interleaving enabled. Dunno if it's the processor or the Gigabyte motherboard I was using but I could not push it about 1600.

Is this APU good for gaming? Hell no. It's not the fault of the APU though, the Richland/Aruba family of chips was before AMD figured out they were doing with the iGPU. The GPU is a pathetic Radeon HD 8470D. Later APU's are MUCH better.

I picked this little APU up at my local electronics store for about $50. You can get it for a similar price at Amazon - http://amzn.to/24DG8X7
