American Psycho (2000). A wealthy New York City investment banking executive, Patrick Bateman, hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends as he delves deeper into his violent, hedonistic fantasies.

In this scene, Patrick Bateman has been masquerading as Marcus Halberstram and has been on a drunken night out with colleague and rival, Paul Allen. Bateman (Christian Bale) lures Allen (Jared Leto) back to his apartment, where Bateman has set up a kill room.

Bateman talks about how he thinks Huey Lewis and the News 1987 album, Four, includes the sing Hip to be Square. This song plays in the background as Bateman sets up to kill Paul Allen.
