American Truck Simulator PC Review
1Overall I recommend the game but if you are wanting more truck options or a larger map wait until those are added otherwise you will be disappointed.
The Good:
- Another turck driving sim and this time in a select portion of the US
- Very easy to just hop in and start driving as it is the exact same menu wise as ETS2
- Much larger cities, the starter job has you drive through a city and no open highway
- Released a day early so I can play sooner
The Bad:
- Only 2 states at launch with a third as FREE DLC. This won't be too bad with Arizona still a bunch of map to explore but will take a while to get to the east coast or Canada
- A reskin of ETS2 so no graphics upgrade
The Ugly:
- Only 2 trucks to purchase. There are 2 more coming after they sort out licensing. Lets hope more companies see the positive reception this gets and lets them liscense more soon.
Note: They have said trucks will be added for free.
